Garage Door Repair
A door that stops halfway, shakes, makes noise or won't close is usually a worn part: rollers, cables, a bent track or a misaligned sensor. Repair companies diagnose it on site and most of these jobs are done the same day.
Get quotes ›Spring Replacement
Springs carry the full weight of the door and wear out after years of use. When one snaps, the door becomes too heavy to lift and the opener can't move it. This is the most frequent service call, and it's not a do-it-yourself job: the spring is under high tension.
Get quotes ›Opener Repair and Installation
If the remote stops working, the motor runs but the door doesn't move, or the opener is just old and loud, a technician can repair it or replace it with a quieter belt-drive or smart model. Most installs take a couple of hours.
Get quotes ›New Garage Door Installation
Replacing a damaged, drafty or outdated door changes how the house looks from the street and how well it keeps the cold out. Companies help you choose the material, insulation and style, then remove the old door and fit the new one, usually in a single visit.
Get quotes ›Maintenance and Tune-up
A yearly visit to lubricate, tighten and rebalance the door, align the sensors and test the auto-reverse. It keeps a noisy or jerky door from becoming a broken one, and it is the cheapest call on this list.
Get quotes ›Commercial Garage Doors
Sectional, roll-up and high-speed doors on warehouses, shops and loading docks need heavier springs, continuous-duty operators and fast response. Commercial door companies repair them, service them under contract and replace them.

Consider this before you call
A garage door problem rarely waits for a convenient moment, and the first call you make often decides how much you pay and how soon the door works again. A few minutes of preparation make that call far more useful.
Is it an emergency?
A door stuck open, a snapped spring with the car inside, or a door that came off its track and could fall are reasons to ask for same-day service. A noisy door, a slow opener or a remote with a short range can wait for a scheduled visit, which is usually cheaper.
Describe the symptom, not the diagnosis
Tell the technician what you see and hear: the door stops halfway, one side sits lower than the other, the motor hums but nothing moves, the opener light blinks. Guessing the cause can send them with the wrong parts; a clear description helps them bring the right spring, cable or board on the first trip.
Ask for an itemized estimate
Before any work starts, ask what the service call covers and how parts and labor are priced. Two quotes that look far apart often differ only in what each one includes, so compare them line by line, not by the total.
Check the warranty on parts and labor
Springs, openers and panels usually carry a manufacturer warranty, and most companies add their own on the labor. Ask how long each one lasts and whether it is in writing: a cheap spring with no coverage can cost more than a better one that is backed for years.
Leave the springs to a professional
Torsion springs hold the full weight of the door under high tension, and releasing one without the right bars and training causes serious injuries every year. Lubricating hinges and rollers or realigning the safety sensors is safe to do yourself; anything involving springs or cables is not.
